Brilliant Minds Counselling and Therapy Centre is a specialized pediatric therapy center serving infants, children, teens, & caregivers. We offer specialized Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and Board Certified Behavior Analysis.

Our therapists have specialized backgrounds in pediatric care, specifically focused in sensory, motor, emotional, and behavioral challenges common to children with neurodiverse needs. Our team is able to complete standardized assessments, offer treatment (both in-clinic and home), provide recommendations and strategies, and liaise with community partners such as schools to advocate and provide recommendations to improve function.

Byron
1255 Commissioners Rd. W
Our Byron center is outfitted with sensory / motor equipment (both stimulating or calming), art materials, play therapy resources, as well as education supplies for assessing school skills such as printing. Sessions are one-on-one, with the Occupational Therapist or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst able to customize the environment to meet the needs of each child. For example, if a child benefits from a calming environment, lights can be dimmed, the bubble tube engaged, compression/weighted vest offered, calming music played, and large bean bag snuggled into. For children requiring stimulation and movement, the ball pit can be offered, the swing presented (we have both a platform or a tube swing), a balance board, steps and slide provided, spinning seat ready for action, and mats will be waiting and ready for play (among other equipment we have to offer).
Serving ages 0-12 years (in-person).
Please email us if your child is older than 12 years and requires services.

Love Letter to London
When I was a little girl, I spent a great deal of time at the hospital being treated for leukemia. Despite all of the needles, surgeries, hair loss, and pain, what I remember MOST is the incredible care of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere set up in those hospital waiting rooms and treatment units.
Children need to be children, especially in the midst of their healing. They need special spaces created for their primary occupation - play, laughter, and growth.

Brilliant Minds Counselling and Therapy Centre is my love letter of gratitude to all those individuals who made my medical visits - 'fun', and who ultimately, saved my life.

Over the past several years, I've had the privilege of witnessing the incredible efforts of the children, teens, and young adults who come through our doors. Each one is unique, full of potential, and working so hard in their own way. Each child brings with them a truly brilliant mind.

I also see the unwavering devotion of caregivers — your love, your ideas, and your strength. You are a vital part of the journey, and your brilliance shines through in all that you do.

And finally, I am absolutely honoured to work alongside the most dedicated and skilled team of therapists. Their compassion, creativity, and expertise inspire me daily. They, too, are brilliant minds.

It’s from this deep appreciation and admiration that Brilliant Minds Counselling and Therapy Centre was born.

To my beautiful London (and surrounding area) community, I whole heartedly welcome you to this special space I have created for your child to grow, heal, and most importantly be their beautiful selves.
