Jade Rogers
Occupational Therapist
What if therapy didn’t feel like therapy at all?
When your child is struggling with sensory needs, emotions, school, independence, or everyday activities, it can be hard to know where to turn. Sometimes, children simply need a different way to learn and grow. Jade takes therapy outside the traditional approach, using, movement, play, and connection to help children build skills in a way that feels natural and engaging.
With more than 15 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Jade has worked across primary care, home and community care, hospital rehabilitation, pediatric private practice, and school-based services. She has supported children with autism, ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder, physical disabilities, sensory differences, and social-emotional challenges, giving her a wealth of experience understanding the unique needs of each child.
As a mom of three boys, Jade understands that therapy needs to fit into real family life. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-focused, and play-based, focusing on what children can do and using their interests and strengths as a starting point for growth.
Jade has specialized training in TimberNook nature-based therapy and sensory integration. She believes that a child’s work is play, and uses the natural environment to create opportunities for movement, sensory exploration, problem-solving, confidence, and independence.
Jade works with toddlers, children, and tweens, supporting sensory integration, social-emotional skills, school-based needs, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Her goal is to help children feel understood, capable, and confident enough to explore what they can do.
Outside of work, Jade finds her own sense of peace in nature and can often be found exploring the forest with her three boys.
