Helping Children Build Confidence, Independence, and Skills for Everyday Life
When everyday tasks like getting dressed, printing, playing, focusing, or managing big feelings seem harder than they should, it can be frustrating for both children and parents. Dana helps children develop the skills they need to feel more capable and confident in their everyday lives.
With Dana, therapy doesn’t have to feel like work. Through play-based activities such as climbing, swinging, balancing, drawing, and movement, children can practice challenging skills in a way that feels natural, engaging, and fun. This interactive approach gives children a safe place to work on sensory processing, attention, coordination, self-regulation, and independence—while building confidence as they tackle new challenges.
With over 32 years of experience, Dana has worked with children in a variety of clinical settings and has extensive experience supporting children with neurological, orthopaedic, and developmental conditions. She has a particular interest in primitive reflexes and reflex integration and works with children experiencing challenges related to self-care, fine and gross motor skills, printing, sensory processing, attention and focus, self-regulation, Autism, ADHD, and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD).
Dana works with toddlers, children, tweens, and teens, providing individualized assessments and treatment plans designed around each child’s unique strengths and needs. She also offers home visits in the Strathroy area, depending on availability.
Her ultimate goal? To help every child discover what they can do, build confidence in their abilities, and develop the independence and lifelong skills they need to thrive.
Outside of the clinic, Dana enjoys cooking and gardening—two activities that allow her to be creative and spend time doing the things she loves.
